A Radiant Journey: Enhancing Goussainville’s Urban Landscape</h3?

Goussainville, a major city in Plaine de France with over 30,000 inhabitants, has undergone a remarkable transformation. It relocated its center, leaving the old historical area in ruins, and developed a new civic, transportation, and religious infrastructure nearby. Despite being the second finalist, our team was commissioned by ETDE to create SDAL and Lighting master plan studies for their PPP project. Our concept aimed to visually reconnect the old and new city, strengthen the city center’s identity, facilitate navigation, and revitalize key areas. By implementing our proposed lighting plan, including symbolic connections, artistic treatments, and strategic illumination, we aspired to enhance Goussainville’s perception and create a vibrant atmosphere for residents and visitors alike.
